Me: " how do you explain the inconsistency between what the lab tests taught us, and what the official stats are telling us?"
ozblue: "Link to which 'lab tests' you are referring to please."
The tests which provided the evidence of this virus having a high R-zero score, something you yourself referenced.
My point is that the virus has a high R-zero score (so we know it is very contagious), but to date there are only circa 4,000 cases of infection, which is not consistent with high degree of contagion.
So, either:
1. It is not as contagious as the clinicians' R-scores suggest (which I think is highly unlikely)
or
2. The number of reported infections significantly understates the actual total number of infections.
Getting to the bottom of that anomaly is at the essence of formulating an alternative strategy to a total shuttering in of the private sector, and a partial shut-down of the public sector.
