One reason management may not have reduced their salaries is because they know a lowball takeover is likely (or imminent) and they get bigger redundancies/payouts in such an event if their salaries are bigger.
Significant management salary reductions are necessary. Tone deaf response by FAR so far regarding the oil price and that is before you consider the poor performance/outcomes of the company.
