"Have you spoken to younger people or just looked through the window at them?"
My sons and their uni mates fit into the young people category.
They wake up every day and go to their labouring jobs as they have done since they finished high school and they are always on the lookout for work where they can get it.
I guess there might be different kinds of young people; those that cower in the face of obstacles and those that get on with their livelihoods. I know mostly the latter kind.
