Why 6 Months?, page-30

The 2 options they seem to currently have are

1. Let a majority of the population catch it on there weekly woolworths trip or at work, spread out enough over the next 6 months for the healthcare system to prepare. Then slowly restart the economy again with enforced wearing of masks and distancing, which seems to be the current plan.

2. Remain in shutdown and isolation for 12-24 months until a vaccine is developed and properly tested, a lot of social types will have gone crazy by this point, asocial types will barely care. Economic depression and all that as well

They cant really say well look only 1/5/50/100/1000 have got it now so we can all go back to normal, it will just spread again and we will be back at square one.

It is quite amazing how much the world has changed in 1 month, really doesn't seem like the same place. 6 months into the future it could have changed as equally radical again
