    How do we get 90% of the population exposed to the virus in 6 months if we flatten the curve?. It's currently about 400 people per day being infected. In 200 days that's 80 000 people, or less than 1/300th of the population. If we go into shutdown the numbers exposed to the virus will be falling or at worst stable, not rising. The aim of a shutdown has to be to get the infection rate towards zero....I would have thought, so you can reopen with the disease still present but not on a scale likely to result in a catastrophe.
