I spose the thinking is for the instos. Buy up now at the bottom and if all recovers as the plan then they will be genius.
If everything goes balls up then no-one is gonna be around to tell them they got it wrong.
Helps not to be using your own money tho.

Seriously tho. After Tech Wreck for example a few really popular stocks did not crash, at first. Mad holders were saying, "see, that proves this was the real thing". Took about a week but then they tanked too.
