I know right. the market hasn't caught up to this yet. look at the unemployment rate! there's a reason governments are pumping trillions of dollars into the economy, something that has never been done to this extent in history! they know what's to come, and they need to "soften" this blow as much as they can.
I've been struggling to come to terms how bad this virus is and I've started looking at our own back yard, Australia. one of the best healthcare systems, strictest well planned response to the coronavirus and the best minds to plan our strategy to get through this and I'm shocked to see that we have over 4K cases...... put that in perspective and the USA might as well close up shop, they are finished and will drag the world economy along with them.
I know that sounds all gloomy, but I just can't see any other way. people say that Australia may "untie" from the US stock market and run on its own, I sure hope so but it sounds unlikely.
