A crash was coming due to the credit squeeze.
No banks were lending to each other at all.
One major thing has changed over the weekend and that is that all banks will have confidence to once again do business with each other. This is due to the gov'ts of the world guaranteeing all bank deposits in all financial institutions.
The world will NEVER be rid of deb't especially the US however that doesn't mean that we have to have a market crash due to that even though we did. It's all about managing deb't effectively.
