My doom and gloom will have no effect on the outcomes. Of course I want to be wrong but I'm not going to change my view despite the facts. They key fact is isolation has helped immensely. Despite your minority view, countries are not going to stop their lockdown, it is going to get even tighter.
The death toll has not peaked in Italy. The daily rate appears to have peaked (hopefully) but death rates trail cases found by a couple of weeks or so meaning tragically plenty more deaths ahead still.
Iceland has a very small population. 19,000 (5%) have been tested. 9,000 have been studied voluntarily and that's where half found to by asymptomatic by verbal questioning. Translating that study to believing millions having coronavirus in Italy is just a guess. I don't agree with your conclusive assertion
