Prior to this latest MT / AMT survey and modelling St George was predominantly drilling DHEM plates, anomalies and stratigraphic holes etc BLIND with just a 3 inch drill bit predominantly down to an average of 150m (with some of the latest holes as deep as 350m) not knowing how the ultramafic veins really get from point A to point B to point C etc (ie. straight line, zig zag vertically or horizontally, from directly below, etc). The holes were also just targeting massive sulphides as that is all the surveys and DHEMs can see because of the complexity, and electromagnetic and other interference in the Cathedrals Belt. As I have posted previously many of the most successful nickel sulphide producers around the world have mines that are made up of very profitable disseminated and blebby nickel sulphide deposits as massive sulphide deposits are very difficult to find and rare. To date St George has discovered massive sulphides as well as both disseminated and blebby sulphides, pges, copper, etc whilst only detecting massive sulphides plates.
Now for the FIRST TIME EVER St George is putting together a 3D "ULTRAMAFIC ROAD MAP" of where ultramafic and sulphide channels are and how they interconnect (like the old melways road maps or for the youngies in the group google maps). THIS IS HUGE and as Helmenesh has said in a recent post this will allow St George to specifically target the more dense and rich ultramafic areas with confident with less holes and greater success. And where there is rich ultramafic you can bet there will be an excellent combination of massive, disseminated and blebby nickel sulphide, copper, pges, and all the other wonderful resources that have been identified so far and LOTS OF IT.
The initial ROAD MAP analysis in the latest announcement has also confirmed that the REAL PRIZE is deep beyond 600m so now we will definitely see drilling beyond the 350m St George has done to date and this will in my opinion put us on the ride of our lives. IT WILL BE HUGE (in my opinion)!!!!
These are just my thoughts and everyone can make up their own minds whether to buy, hold or sell and regardless what you do you must make your own decision based on your own research and have no regrets regardless the outcome.
