West Australian Government shot itself in the foot in 2007 when the then Howard Government imposed excise of diesel dervive from NWSheof LNG.
Howard went to China to officiate at the opening of a Chinese LNG unloading facility which contained a distillate section to skim off diesel from
our exported LNG when Woodside closed its distillation of diesel due to Howard imposing excise. Kevin 07 continued Howards excise

It seems ridiculous to import diesel from the ME when we can reduce that (particuluarly for WA) by allowing LNG condensate to be distilled into diesel without lobing 52c excise a litre on it.
What are we?.......import addicts acting for the foreign multinational oil companies!
