    I'd happily walk away if we get 90c or so per share once they liquidate.

    This will always trade at 20% discount to NTA. Small, little known LICs always do. Discount will probably get worse in a bear market. So the only way you'll get another chance to sell for 90c is if they get NTA back up to $1.10. Could happen if markets really bounce. However if that is the case, wouldn't you rather take the 90c now and invest in something else which would go up by 20% too. You'd end up with $1.10 rather than 90c.

    If you are investing in these LICs at big discounts, an opportunity to redeem at NTA is like the tooth fairy coming to put money under your pillow! Doesn't happen very often apart from in our dreams!
