a lot depends on who you talk to. watso used to phone the companies all the time, but in the end, realized it was a waste of time. i recall once upon a time, that i would regularly phone a company (was top 20 shareholder, and had been to functions at the residence of the nos one director), and often went into the offices to get an update. In the end, the head director was sprouting a load of bs. one day, i just happened to get the consulting geologist, and seeing that watso knew a bit about mining etc etc, i chatted to him about certain matters, and i got a different story alltogether - sold the shares on the next run
