    Hey kincella and all,

I would say that it is a fair bit of jealousy.

I mean, I am jealous that I didn't buy an investment property a few years ago. Mind you at the time, I thought that I wasn't in the position. Some might say I didn't have the balls.

    So that's one reason.

    But there are others.

kincella's post about the sydney melting pot or whatever, that he failed to reply to basically shows that many property investors post things that make them appear like they look down on everyone.

Now, this behaviour - and I may have been interpreting things incorrectly - generally makes people not like you. Which no doubt would compound your feeling of others being jealous of you, which makes you post things that makes others angry; they reply; which makes you angry and so it goes.

For me as well, property investors often like to think that they are god's gift to the homeless. There is some truth here (in the provision of housing) but nowhere to the extent that is said. And anyways, it is often how things are said and not what is said.

And why say it like that anyways. If I invest in a IPO, I don't spruik about the great job that I've done in furthering society. I did it to benefit myself.

So there, shout me down, put me on your ignore lists or whatever. In short, people sound like they are jealous of you 'cos you sound like you are full of yourselves.

Oh, to be fair, if the property bears ask a question of why the property bulls don't like then; I'll be happy to reply.

I am assuming hear that jealousy means dislike
