The full bench of the Fair Work Commission have agreed to some rapid changes already in response to the current circumstances.
Either way when passed the jobkeeper program is going to be backdated.
The treasurer has advised that workers should apply for jobkeeper (done by their employer) and jobseeker, just in case.

Any legislation needs to pass Parliament when they return.

If an employer signs up for jobkeeper they will have to pay the worker and be reimbused by the ATO sometime in May I think unless an ararngement can be struck with the employee to be paid in arrears.
