It's not Oz-style martial law. The change doesn't seem to have been caused by any emergency - only 5 deaths so far. There is huge pressure on countries to conform. I hope that Sweden (death rate comparable to Denmark's), Belarus etc hold out, showing us up. If Australia had avoided a lockdown following the Swedish model, it could have attracted millions of long-term cashed up visitors escaping lockdowns over the next few months. We would be rich in six months' time instead of poor.
