Yes , in this environment US might be able to just about supply their own demand .
But I thought the Saudi's even more dependent on the oil than Russia who have some other revenue streams .
The Russians have agricultural exports , gas (fixed contract) pipelines etc. and are much more diversified than the Saudi's and a bigger economy .
Some elements in Saudi would love to get rid of the royals and other royals would love to take power so there is risk , probably more so than with Putin .
Wouldn't care to place a bet on the winner but too early to count anyone out IMO .
Certainly there'll be an immense cost to both and a degree of stimulus to the world in general when it really needs it .
