Strategically yes but reality is a bit different. Our growth post WW2 has always been Asia with the industrialisation of war torn countries, Japan, SK, and now China. Those trading blocks of NAFTA & EEC effectively closed us out. Our 30 year no recession has some help from China would you agree?
