guys, ive been researching this stock lately as one of a few potential buys and it is ticking a number of boxes for me that a lot of other resource juniors don't:
- plenty of cash on hand - plenty of ore already stockpiled - potential to expand resource base with further drilling - transport organized (i believe) - processing plant commissioned - most of the production already sold into informal agreements - a commodity that isnt overhyped at the moment but has a solid growth profile
it looks like a sure winner, but before i get carried away what are the key risks do you think? I am not asking for downramping, but just honest discussion about some areas of risk or where things could come unstuck for LYC
My thoughts on risks are: - rare earth market appears to be extremely concentrated, if there is a significant commercial discovery made elsewhere it could greatly affect the supply/demand dynamics of the market - getting ore to Malaysia, potential for Port or Rail congestion? - price increases for reagents used in processing the ore (which appear to be the major cost of production) could greatly change the economics of the project - price of energy, the whole thing looks to be fairly energy intensive
anything i missed or discussion on the above comments?
