I think you are buying too much into the US narrative.

Check the registered patents - the Chinese actually have more patents than the US.

And if you get a chance, go visit China - they don't use cash anymore (except a few smaller towns outside cities). They have been a cashless society for nearly 5 years now.

If you went to their Tech Trade fair, and communicated with some of the companies there, they will tell you, their biggest fear is their Tech being stolen (mirroring what the US claim...lol).

Note also the current fear of the US at how fast the Chinese are moving with their 5G technologies.

Unfortunately, a lot of you guys repeat the narrative propagated by the US establishment (for their own interest of course), but never did any of your own research.

    You just might be surprised.

As to historical inventions, you might want to add:

    - paper, where would the world be without writing papers?
    - zero, where would all maths, science and computer calculations be without the "Zero"?
    - silk clothes,
    - latern,
    - telescope,
    - water wheels,
    - icecream

I guess the easiest way to work out is go to the nearest university and see how many top graduates in science, engineering, maths, medicine, IT, businesses are Chinese students.
