@pustayo - haven't had time to even log in till today. Husband doing fine. Brisbane River is quite beautiful and the sunsets are glorious. I am still very negative longer term on the markets but was hoping for some sort of rally. Still talking 1800 on gold and will review it when it gets there but right on an uptrend at this very moment and risks breaking it so may still need more patience. But thinking longer term it really is hard to decide where one should put money - gold may go up but if the miners are't mining gold, will they be sold off. Real estate really worries me and what that might do to banks is nightmarish. Paddington price down 20% and we only sold seven weeks ago. Speaking to our agent before we left Sydney and he said the buyers just disappeared overnight. Very worrying time. Apart from the effect on markets, I am concerned that we could have a generation of kids that lose interest in school and what of those kids that don't have their own ipads or even computer access at all.
