Hi Bob,, certainly these guys are not infallible, less than favourable results from Trials only reflects what does or does not work.... Management decided on what disorders and how trials should be conducted..
I never dismiss data from trials until weeks after announcements due to watching some clangers ,,, miss-interpreted data, or findings that lead to "Another Discovery"
Management will want to restore their own reputations and install credibility back into the Scientific merit of BOT.. so with a couple more irons in the fire it would seem to me they are not spent by any measure.... the sectors pending trial results are worth Billions...
For me MHO,, we are about to get News,,, Antibacterial? Antimicrobial? news.....
