What do you think this means, Miles? Read it carefully. Read between the lines, mate. He is supporting it because it is politically the only thing he can do. But he is , by this statement, registering his doubts about the efficacy of this policy. Hence my point about the quality of political debate in this country. NO-ONE CAN EVER ARGUE AGAINST A HANDOUT OR TAX CUT. That worries me.
