Deidre, do you really think steady price appreciation will not happen for at least 18months, that implies 'at least'a two and a half year bear market. You may be right for a fair chunk of that, hopefully not, but many respected economists are saying we ar at or near the bottom, albeit with others suggesting we have hit a worldwide dowturn.

If markets are six months ahead o the world, then I can't see PNA needing 18 months to start a climb back up.

Before its rally last year, PNA bounced along 30c for ages, I think their is huge support their, and while I agree with swongs, and maybe a sideways bounce for a while, I do not agree he climb back needing 18 months. The fecocity with which insto's will jump back in to quality/value shares once the bottom is reached will be frightening.

Just my opinion, not necessarily fully scientific!
