Thought it might have been here in Perth as the same thing is happening here. Some properties are still going on the market for the price similar properties were selling for 12-18 months ago, but clearly there is a big difference between putting something on the market and actually selling it.
Of course the other way of looking at it is the 30% you may now have to drop was never really made, profit is only profit when the sale is done and the money is in the bank
And yes it would not be a good position to be in I you had purchased 12 - 18 months ago and had to sell now.
