There seems to be a little confusion in this forum as to when FOD will be next reporting results. FOD reports semi-annually and historically makes its earnings announcement post-market hours on the last day permitted by the ASX, being Monday 31st August 2020.

FOD does not report quarterly either officially through a 4C or unofficially through an unaudited market update. There is no pretext of FOD reporting quarterly, so I am unsure why people keep saying that they will.

People are selling FOD as the stock price has been relatively unchanged since COVID-19 began. Equity valuations across the broader market have come down significantly, and investors are using this as an opportunity to redeploy their capital into fundamentally stronger companies at cheaper valuations. FOD shareholders will have to wait until the end of August to get the full picture of business performance and profitability. Given the last time FOD generated a positive net income was June 2018, I think it is pretty unrealistic to expect investors to stick with FOD when they can invest in companies with higher degrees of certainty and profitability.
