    Technical definition of a recession is two consecutive quarters of negative growth.

    Technical definition of a depression is four consecutive quarters of negative growth.

    Non-technical definition is someone sent off to see the quack. Plenty there now with more to come. Easier to grab a bundy and save the pain.

    Gets worse if the fridge breaks down, and now with the new alcohol tax being introduced.
