BBC reporting on the cough analysis apps being developed to identify Covid-19 in the UK and how this could assist the NHS. Now whether or not Resapp is tied to either of these, it'd be nice amid all that is currently going on to get get that sort of coverage that directly references Resapp. Why wouldn't the company want to get there name out there as certified triage tech at the moment? Awareness will only drive demand from the public and speed up the rollout/sign up process. From a PR point of view it'd be any easy to sell to any of the major media outlets and yet all is reasonably quiet except a couple of very brief spots in Aus news reports and the odd article after a positive or negative announcement.

A wee thought I had today while pondering this is that maybe the company as it sits today don't plan on turning Resapp into a household name and the end goal here is a takeover by a larger company who will incorporate the tech under their own brand. Having a recognised name will only mean any potential buyer of the company will have to work harder to rebrand and gain public trust.

This scenario is only relevant if the company plans to sell in the near future. I believe that had we received FDA we would have been a very desirable takeover prospect but the setback has delayed us by another 6 - 12 months. Anyway, now I'm rambling!

The main point being, why isn't the company putting its name forward for media more than ever at this moment? I know they are busy with signing up providers etc but it doesn't take much to get a PR company to run a short term campaign for you, especially while the industry we operate in is the talk of the globe!
