The daughter could take a 12-18 month building loan for and prepay the interest for 18 months upfront with her cash and your cash from the sale and refinance the loan out once the units are completed, perhaps at a cheaper rate.
Also this would allow her to sell 1 or 2 if she need to prior to refinancing.
Again just a thought.
