re: to open up 11 So far, I am wrong on this one. It seems that the "players" are reading Mansfield's exit as either:
1)
Ziggy will quickly follow; or
2)
that the Boardroom ructions have now been resolved.
The question is though whether fund managers have moved in to take some quick gains, or whether they are long-term investors (ie; greater than a day or 2).
Few fund managers, however, appear to be concentrating on the Q3 market update which last year was issued on the 16th (a Wednesday, immediately following a Board meeting).
Yesterday, there was also a Board meeting, 52 weeks to the day. Yet, the Chairman resigns and there was no Q3 update issued.
As for my shorts, I'm comfortable with my poosition (and the cover I have in place).
To Gavin, I'm sorry to see that your order wasn't filled, but today's action suggests you can never take anything for granted (emotional and interpretative intelligence are some of the keys, but even they can be hard pressed to interprete short-term trading behaviour).
