the market is down 45% from the top.

Well managed good quality companies have all plummeted.

The questions should be posed. If you are seeking to make money on the stock market are you greedy? have you been stupid because the market is down 45% from the peak?

The answer is no and no. Many people make investment decisions based on advice, representations from companies and views on the global macro environment, fed from analysts the press and industry experts. etc.

NO-ONE on this forumn could have predicted what happened. None of you that are making judgements and opinions said in August 2007 that you have sold everything and are not investing back in the market until at least july 2009, when the dust settles. All of you comment on stocks, investing and are making comments on others investing and at times being scathing of others behaviour (rubbing salt in to others failures) . . I know a lot of very smart investment professionals that had $$ with Opes. It is very easy for all of you to pass your comments with the benefit of hindsight from arms length.

I just think there are one or three people here that are not voicing an opinion but are using Opes affecting victims as a punching bag for their own bad experiences in the market. i feel for you but it is not the right way to go about it.
