My grandfather was very old fashioned YC to the point he used to conserve rainwater and store it in oil drums, totally self sufficient. He used to wander the streets selling tomatoes from his vegie garden. Even came to my school on a fgew occassions. Embarressing? You bet. LOL
But my point is they had a completely different way of living the only thing they bought on occasion was meat, poultry and fresh bread and even then it was a whole loaf. And they would eat it all. Waste not want not.
I think humans in this day and age have become extremely wasteful. I have some close friends that won't even touch last nights left overs after 1 night in the fridge. They would rather feed it to their pets.
Goes to show you why this whole mess is happening. Worlds way of saying wake the hell up.
