The ex-date is 31/10/2008 and the payment date is 17/11/08.
The announcement regarding the payment of the coupon amount was made about 1 week before the ex-date last time. Assuming the same timing on this occasion, we should expect an announcement towards the end of next week.
The interest rate for the next 6 months is not looking as good. BBSW is down to about 5.06% so we are looking at a coupon rate of about 7.16% (which is still an attractive yield on the current market price).
