Lockitt, when something is taken over by a foreign entity, eg NZ banks by Aussie banks, something that kiwis howl about, we tend to forget that papers were signed by consenting individuals, there was an agreement.

So if Chinese companies enter Australia and go shopping for investments certain individuals are seduced by large numbers and sign away "Australia".
It's all by consent, by people who can't say no.

Whats the difference between Australia being owned by American or Chinese companies? Since WW2 America has owned Australia and now its being sold on to China. No difference at all. Australians would sell granny if the price was right, the kiwis would throw in the grand kids.

Greed is good, as the saying goes.
