Apples,
Yes, as I said it is intriguing.
What is most intriguing is I believe there must be long term plans regarding separation of ownership of assets in particular. This would most certainly be on the cards because any administration or liquidation of CNP particularly will be an absolute nightmare or a prospect. Everything is half-owned and cross-owned or syndicated between CNP and CER.
Like i also said before. If CNP goes to the wall and CER survives, does CER have first right of refusal? What's the process? It is certainly not clear.
If Centro Retail CAN survive you could almost argue that by proxy CNP SHOULD survive. CER will have to sell the assets or gear up/syndicate to buy the assets off CNP and then in effect CER morphs into CNP..... It's almost a travesty.
My hunch is that this is why CNP has appointment a heavy duty chartered accountant....he should have a head for the numbers and accounting for the complex business combinations.
