MSB Trading - 2020, page-5316

Ok .... so I did a little sniffing around today and discovered that from 3:30pm onwards on Thursday 9/4 there were 4,661,653 shares traded into the close (bought in a frenzy IMO) ....

..... so what caused this late afternoon insurgence ?

1. ASX announcement regarding 240 patient trial for COVID-19 was known at 8:22 am so that IMO couldn't have caused this late afternoon 'rush for shares' - they had all day at cheaper prices so why leave it to the last 30 minutes of trading to buy ?

2. New York Times article was also known early in the day ( @dave sss posted it at 10:06 am on HC ) so again it was well known to the market participants early in the day so again why wait until late afternoon to buy in a 'rush for shares' at much higher prices - you had all day at cheaper prices ?

I am smelling something else tomorrow morning me thinks .... something that may have 'slipped through the cracks' somewhere late on Thursday ? ... (not MSB but perhaps the typist at a law firm as an example ? )

Or maybe I am just jumping at shaddows and it was simply some shorters deciding to exit before Easter but I doubt it ?

Not long to go now to find out folks but I feel the demand was very strong and price 'didn't appear to matter' in the last 20 minutes .... so for these reasons it is my opinion that we are in for some positive news tomorrow morning
