Tasting Note: This ultra-premium Coonawarra Shiraz entered the market with a bang, taking out the 1998 Jimmy Watson Trophy with its first vintage off new vines.
“Although Coonawarra’s reputation as the ideal terroir for Cabernet Sauvignon is well known, it also produces world class Shiraz. The variety is perhaps more challenging in the Coonawarra but when it all comes together Coonawarra Shiraz truly comes into its own,” says Wayne Stehbens.
It is an opulent wine with heady dark berry fruit characters combined with hints of licorice and roasted coffee finishing with a well-balanced fine tannin structure and weight.
Suggested cellaring potential is medium to long 10 to 20 years

A$105.00
Is it A$105.00 per bottle or for the 6? Not really into wine, I'll go a six pack at $105.00 for 6 but you must think I'm APE if you think I'll go $105 per bottle and I have never tried the stuff. Cheers
