Bershire Hathaway is an insurence company
he has been involved in re insurance for years
he know all about the trillions in credit default swaps
he as even said famously that deriatives are "weapons of mass fincancial" destruction
if he says he is converting all his bonds to equities in this financial crisis
you can be sure he knows what he is doing
things are probably not as bad as people think
