one business man reported that rudd spent the meeting "taking notes"!!! ROFLMAO, in the normal course of events i'd say "well done rudd, you might learn a thing or two", but given the current state of play "taking notes" is a bloody joke.
furthermore, giving a lump sum payment to pensioners is a mistake, post christmas they'll all be back to square one & the whinging will resume. what then? I know, let's spend another $10 billion! far better off to increase the pension by $30 per week (or whatever it works out to) than paying lump sum.
