Lordy. Have to say I disagree with you on brighton although may be biased hint hint. I attended a few auctions today in this area and can assure you that there is no recession down here. Sure things are 10 and 15% off from the heady days of last year but 1m properties are still getting theirs. At some point I concluded that if things really so toughen up I should see it as an opportunity given I'm a young holder and safely employed. So bring on the corrections I just can't see it.
That said I recall the property market fell arou d 1990 a few years after the sharemarket collapse of 1987.
