Seems some people are confusing renogatiating shipping contracts with ore contracts.
Baltic Dry Index for Capesize ships have fallen from over $200,000 to less than $2000. That says two things, huge drop off in demand and if I was the chinese I'd want a piece of the savings on freight.
Future looks tight for FMG given the slowdown, but given its resources, if it makes it through the next year, $2.50 will be absolute bargain. Punt anyone????
