Chifley found out that in the banks nationalization case (Bank of New South Wales v The Commonwealth, HC, 1948).

Even the Kiefel High Court will IMHO not allow the Feds to do that just for the sake of 5G and the Wuhan virus.

That Federal Government overreach is not allowable under the Australian Constitution and Sir Robert Menzies' legacy will not be burnt up so easily so I do not like your chances of that suggestion coming into fruition even if the Commonwealth has the idea somewhere in its dreams.

Thanks for a legal lesson.

I trust Telstra can do it (construction of 5G) alone. It has the financial capability. Hope Govt does not intervene unnecessarily.
