Hey been a while since I stopped by JAY board, after selling out in the 25c range (thank heavens even though that was a huge loss from IPO). Good to see they have taken the hard medicine and slashed expenses. 12 months runway is far more than I thought they would have, must have been brutal for staff.
For what it's worth my main reason for selling was that I used the service and it was a disaster from start to finish for me. Booked 48 hours before flight and had no correspondence from the driver at any stage. I obviously started to get concerned so was contacting them in the small hours leading up to flight (was in a regional town so had zero other options by that point). Went to JAY customer service who just kept saying they were trying to contact the driver, nothing more they can do etc etc. The driver got back just in time but it was a sh1t show. The harsh reality is that JAY doesn't control the whole supply chain and there are many online reviews with the same experience. If they can solve that part of it then think the platform makes a lot of sense.
