    Most brokers allow you to see "Course of Sales".
    If you see lots of low digit share transactions, eg 1, you know someone is spoofing or layering (entree to pump and dump).
    If you see numbers like 3 you might guess that 3 brokers or hedge funds are playing the same game, or there is a round robin.
    There are more than several such players of one type or the other.
    If you look hard enough on ASIC site you will find that ASIC relies on market participants to provide details (that they are supposed to).

    Tuesday had lots of cases. Shorters may 'hide' their shorts by splitting them over many transactions.
    Spoofing is used to fill gaps on low side so retail investors see last trade at a lower price, than the gap..
    Best time to look 2pm to 3.59.59.
    The data reported is short positions against issued capital.
    It should be short positions against volume - that's where the price damage is done.
