Zebster I have a basic idea what a put option is. I'm currently trading over 20000 barrels of oil on the futures. What I feel is totally unacceptable is he is basically trading and good for him and obviously a good one, to short his own company from $45 down to $30 if your information and figures are accurate. What I feel is totally unreasonable is the struggling mums and dad investors who were not as clever as him to short their holdings were not given the same opportunity as him. Sure they can participate but will the same opportunity be available to them to offload their rights issued shares at the current market price if his shares are tradable tomorrow. I really hope the price does hold up for them but is not much fun joining the line behind Macquarie bank
