Yes, he enriched himself and also enriched others. Not only members of his family, but also people he has never met.

He gave many people here and elsewhere a dream. A dream of amazing riches to be had with no personal effort. For some, that dream is still alive. For others, alas, it has been extinguished.

But I ask you, what would you have done if you had been in the same position as MS, possessed of the gift of a silver tongue that would cause people to open their wallets and shower you with money? Would you have done the same as MS? If not, how would you have used that gift?
