The reference in yesterday's announcement to old Poseidon drilling was a very interesting one. Only the older guys will remember but in 1970 Poseidon and Tasminex's ( I think that is the right spelling) share prices went through the roof - and I mean throoooogh the roof.
To quote "Poseidon shares peaked at an intraday high of $280 in February 1970," This was an extraordinary price per share. If you were on ten grand a year back then you were on huge money so $280 a share was out of this world. Anyway an interesting side story - hope you enjoy guys and gals.
