if ever there was a nation that needed a highly educated workforce with massive economic carrots to entice ultra high tech r & d - this is it

but, we do exactly the opposite - we cut education, we cut r&d - we fund pretty much ZERO general research

we cut science and maths


China meanwhile are doing the exact opposite --

and, we find they are getting massively strong -

but, we stand by as if oblivious to why they are doing well and why they WILL be the power of the future

we stand back and say - well ------ we should be making our own shorts and thongs
