we have little fertile land - and, a lot of what we have is as dry as a chip

climate -- it's becoming less and less favourable by the year

space - yep - tick

wildlife -------- nope - Oz doesn't have a lot of wildlife at all - if you want wildlife - you head to Africa or similar

It's more than that - they have a collective culture - they also have people that go to huge lengths to have an educated populace - in maths, science, technology - they aren't really at all interested in making shirts ------- the shirts just pay the way until things get real

opal????????? - ya gotta be kidding - most of those things you mentioned bar gas are almost irrelevant atm

whichever you include ------- it's all just basic resources --------- the future doesn't lie there.


If you are worried about China stealing technology ------- find ways to profit from it without them stealing it ------------------ sell em half and take royalties on the rest or something similar

it shouldn't be rocket science
