@nutcracker. I hope I did not offend you with my post. It was only a pun on your nick and the ballet -The Nutcracker Suite.
Besides I like the Ballet. Plus, the sheer athleticism of the guys and girls, amazes me. It shows what the human body is capable of. At least Romeo and Juliet, look like Romeo and Juliet. Unlike the opera. Where by the time the hero and heroine are capable of singing the [arts, they no longer look like 'em. Can you imagine Pavarotti performing a; Tours en l'air, or Dame Joan En Pointe.
So. I normally close my eyes during opera and imagine the characters, and open them wide during a ballet.
BTW I was a weightlifter/powerlifter, because of my leg power I could get airborne with the best of them. The only problem was that I landed like a cat - a D9
